Re-appeal of missing Chesterfield man David |
||
|
We are releasing a new picture of a missing Chesterfield man as part of a re-appeal for information about his whereabouts. We only received a report concerning the safety of David John Whyatt on May 20 last year – but it is believed he may have not been seen or heard from for up to two years before that date. We have made extensive enquiries, including issuing numerous public appeals for information, but have not yet been able to locate him. The 65-year-old, who leads a reclusive life, is a keen walker and has an interest in trains and the railways. He is known to visit Tapton Lock, Sheffield and Matlock. David is thought to be around 5ft 9ins tall and of a slim build with grey hair. The new photo shows David wearing a black top and posing in a woodland. You can view the images of David by following this link: New picture released as part of re-appeal to find long-term missing Chesterfield man David | Derbyshire Constabulary It has been issued alongside a selection of previously released pictures and whilst they are from some time ago we are hoping someone may have seen him and be able to recognise him from the images. We are concerned for David’s welfare and are keen to hear from anyone who has seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts. If you can help with our investigation, contact us using any of the below methods, quoting the reference 308 of 20 May: You can also anonymously contact the independent charity CrimeStoppers, on 0800 555 111, or by visiting the CrimeStoppers website: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/ | ||
