Two Wanted Males Arrested in Shirebrook

On Tuesday officers in Shirebrook successfully arrested two males who were wanted for separate matters.

The first male was located and arrested by our Neighbourhood Enforcement Team after failing to attend court following charges for previous offences.

The second male was spotted by PC Stone, PC Cutt, and PCSO Hancock while they were carrying out other enquiries. Thanks to their local knowledge, they identified the individual as being wanted for recall to prison. He was arrested and taken to Ripley Custody Suite, where arrangements were made for his return to prison.

These arrests demonstrate the importance of proactive policing and local knowledge in keeping our communities safe.
