Tickets issued on Winnats Pass

Yesterday whilst on patrol the team found 3 more motorists who aren't aware of the hgihway code and what a "Clearway" is, even when parking next to the sign, tickets have been issued to all 3 for the offence.

Reminder to all visitors to the area of what a Clearway is :-"A clearway is a section of road where stopping, parking, or waiting is forbidden at any time, even to drop off or pick up passengers, to keep traffic flowing on busy routes, marked by signs with a red 'X' on a blue circle "

In the Hope Valley area there are Clearways on Winnats Pass, Mam Nick and Old Mam Tor Rd ( except for marked bays ).
