COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH

Good afternoon to all Derbyshire Alert users,

Hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

Im pleased to share with you that a new Community Speed Watch ( CSW) group has recently been established in Netherseal.

The group that successfully completed both the theory and practical training, with five local volunteers now fully equipped to begin monitoring vehicle speeds within their community . Their commitment to improving road safety is greatly appreciated.

As thr local Police Community Support Officer, I will be supporting the Netherseal CSW volunteers whenever possible and working alongside them to help promote safer driving behaviours.

CSW plays a vital role accross Derbyshire with approximately 800 volunteers and around 90 active CSW groups currently helping to keep their communities safe by raising awareness and encouraging responsible driving.
