After-dark patrols in Willington over the weekend - with more to follow today (Monday 26 January)

Having received reports of anti-social behaviour on Twyford Road, Willington, Mercia Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have been conducting visible and after-dark patrols at the location over the weekend.

Police engaged with a number of residents who were pleased to see an SNT presence locally.

Whilst in Willington, your local officer dealt with:

An abandoned vehicle - which included liaising with South Derbyshire District Council's Environmental Health Team;

Provided crime prevention advice to a family affected by a report of criminal damage;

Conducted targeted patrols at nearby country lanes which have been impacted by fly-tipping and unwanted anti-social behaviour. Several motorists were dealt with at the locations.

Further patrols at Willington, Repton, Findern, Milton, Bretby, Ticknall and Newton Solney will take place today, (Monday 26 January), and into tonight's darkened hours.
