SNT Updates

Good evening!

We hope your week is going well.

Yesterday, officers attended West Park School for a drop in session, conducted foot patrols across Chaddesden Park, and also conducted patrols at the Wyvern Retail Park engaging with businesses.

Today, officers have been on foot patrol developing intelligence in the areas of Derwent and Chaddesden, as well as attending to reports of several suspicious vehicles. School patrols have been conducted, along with engaging with businesses.

We'd also like to take this opportunity to make you all aware that we have received reports of suspicious males in the area of Chaddesden, and would like to provide some safety advice for you all:

- Keep all doors and windows locked and ideally have a fully activated alarm system.
- Ensure you have your mobile phone with you in the event of an emergency and call 999 if you feel in immediate danger.
- Ideally have security cameras and sufficient lighting.
- Remove high objects to prevent offenders from easy access to your property such as wheelie bins and ladders.
- Remove valuables that may be on show in your home so they cannot be seen through your windows or letterbox.
