Good evening Welcome again to new users of Derbyshire Alert. The weather is dreadful and there are many floods around Derbyshire so please becareful of driving through water and water covering large potholes. Your insurance providers does not cover you with driving through flood water. A man has been charged after a warrant was executed in Castle Gresley. A search of a storage unit led to items being located with a further search being conducted at an address on Chatham Drive at Dracan village. Christopher Dixon of Chatham Drive has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug, and two charges of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. He was remanded to court on 3rd February where then he was remanded into cusody to appear at Derby Crown Court in March 2026. A 42 year old woman was also arrested for possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug, Possession of an offensive weapon in a private place and make counterfeit currency notes with intent, and now has been released under investigation.
