A man has been charged after a warrant was executed in Castle Gresley.

A search of a storage unit led to items being located with a further search being conducted at an address on Chatham Drive at Dracan village.

Christopher Dixon of Chatham Drive has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug, and two charges of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. He was remanded to court on 3rd February where then he was remanded into cusody to appear at Derby Crown Court in March 2026.

A 42 year old woman was also arrested for possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug, Possession of an offensive weapon in a private place and make counterfeit currency notes with intent, and now has been released under investigation.
