Weekly Round-Up

Hey everyone! Your favourite high-vis fashion icons are back with this week’s round-up. Here’s what we’ve been up to while pretending we don’t mind the British weather… 🌦️ 🚓 

Patrols, Patrols and more patrols: 👣 

Our PCSO’s were on the ball this week, spotting a wanted male during their patrols. After keeping eyes on him, they called in the cavalry. The Sgt and PC arrived promptly, and the individual was quickly introduced to a pair of handcuffs. During the arrest, officers uncovered 20 wraps of crack cocaine and 10 wraps of heroin hidden on him – which may explain why he wasn’t exactly thrilled to see us. Another solid result for the team and fewer harmful substances on our streets. 

Sgt Shenanigans: The Hide-and-Seek Champion’s: 👀 👮🏼‍♂️ 

Our Sergeants proved this week that they’re undefeated at hide-and-seek. During a visit to an address, they located a wanted male who had decided the best place to avoid arrest was.. under the bed. Unfortunately for him, our Sgts have seen every hiding tactic in the book. He was swiftly removed from his makeshift bunker and is now exactly where he ought to be. Nice try! 

Community Gossip: The Green-Fingered Edition: 🌱 

Neighbourhood intel has been on top form this week. Thanks to a few sharp whispers and keen eyes, we uncovered two cannabis grows hiding in places they really had no business being. The plants have now met an abrupt end to their horticultural dreams! 

Stop Searches: Excuses given, Drugs taken off the streets: 🔍 

Our officers carried out several stop searches this week, and let’s just say the results were…productive. A number of illegal substances were swiftly removed from circulation, along with a few imaginative (but unsuccessful) attempts at providing false details. Spoiler: the truth always catches up – especially when our officers are trained to spot a tall tale from a mile away. Thanks to the team’s persistence, more drugs are off the streets and a couple of individuals have earned themselves some quality time in custody. Lovely work, team!

Another busy week for the team, packed with patrols, arrests, plant-based surprises and some poor hiding attempts.
