Our Day! Killamarsh & Eckington |
||
|
Resident
PCSO Furmidge & PCSO Dixon have had a busy shift today,
🚨 It started off with hi visibility patrols, this is important to check our areas that have been affected by anti-social behaviour on the previous night and any other areas of concern. This was both in Killamarsh and the Eckington areas.
🚨 First official stop was at St Peters & St Pauls Church at Eckington for the coffee morning (and before anyone asks, one of the officers doesn't even like hot drinks, and they didn't supply the donuts 😀)
🚨 Then it was off to Ebenezer Gospel Hall for there coffee event, it was great to see so many smiling faces, it also helped that the sunshine made an appearance! ☀️
🚨 From there, in the afternoon they went to the Warm Space at St Giles Church Hall, this is running until the 24th March. The officers received a 'warm' welcome. (see what we did there?) This is a great initiative where locals can go for hot drinks and some lovely treats!
🚨 It was really good to engage and speak with so many people; both officers are on throughout the week so let's see what the shifts will bring! 😁
🚓We get lots of invites to events like these and they are part of our regular drop in's if our shifts allow. It is lovely to get out into our community and meet lots of people, if you have any events, you would like us to attend for crime prevention advice or any help at all, don't hesitate to get in touch with us. 🚓
