Spotting the signs of exploitation

Criminals exploit young people to sell or transport drugs for them. This type of exploitation can be hard to spot, but there are warning signs.

If you notice any of the following, it could mean they’re being targeted or groomed:

Signs of drug use or changes in behaviour or mood

Unexplained gifts, money, or expensive new possessions

Going missing or being out until late at night / early in the morning

Constant phone calls or messages.
