* * * Prisoner absconds from HMP Sudbury and goes on the run * * *

Officers from our prison team and SNT track the movements of the prisoner which leads to a flat in the Stockbrook area of Derby.

The Flat is contained by officers, entry is forced and a search of the flat by taser officers results in the absconder being located and surrendering without further incident. 

Male is arrested for escaping lawful custody.

Prisoner has been charged and returned to a higher category prison.
