Officers from Amber Valley Safer Neighbourhood Team have today seized a motorbike under Section 59 at Shipley Country Park.
Whilst out on patrol they came across a bike being ridden by a male with no insurance, no driving license held and not wearing a helmet. Checks confirmed that the driver didn’t hold the requirements to be riding the bike on the road.
A Traffic Offence Report has been submitted, and the vehicle was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
Uninsured driving wont be tolerated and our team continue carrying out patrols around the area to ensure the safety of road users.
