Police were made aware this afternoon of a disturbance on Holmes Street Heanor, involving several young males with metal bars.
Officers were on scene within minutes and quickly apprehended one of the young males, whilst others made off foot.
Officers have been able to identify the others involved however they have not been detained at this time.
This is an isolated incident and can confirm there is no risk to the wider public.
