Last week, officers from the local neighbourhood policing team visited Bemrose Primary School to speak with pupils about County Lines, raising awareness around exploitation, the risks involved, and how to stay safe.
We joined https://orlo.uk/8Hzk0 , a Rochdale based multidisciplinary production company whose work focuses on amplifying unheard voices and bringing creative, ambitious projects directly to local streets and communities.
Breaking Barriers works with young people, communities, and artists from a wide range of lived experiences, using co creation and innovative digital storytelling to open minds, inspire aspiration, and overcome socio economic barriers.
Their involvement brought a fresh and engaging approach to an important safeguarding topic, helping pupils understand these issues in a relatable and empowering way.
