We’re appealing for information after a robbery in Palterton. A woman, in her 60s, reported that she was robbed while walking her dog in the fields next to Losk Lane on Monday 23 March. At around 11:30am the woman was approached by a man who hit her on the head and stole three gold rings, and a gold charm from a bracelet. She described the man as being of south Asian appearance, around 5ft 10ins tall, with dark hair and facial stubble. He was wearing black joggers, a white t-shirt and a black zip up top. The woman was not seriously injured during the incident. If you recognise the description of the man or noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time please contact us with reference 26*166827.
