On Friday, the Safer Neighbourhood Team worked alongside the Council to host a bike engagement event within the local area. The focus of the day was to educate cyclists and pedestrians about the no-cycling zone's in place between 10am and 5pm, helping to keep everyone safe and informed.
Officers were also on hand to security mark bicycles, giving owners extra protection and peace of mind should their bike ever be lost or stolen.
We were pleased to welcome Ay Up Bike, who carried out free bike safety checks, ensuring bikes were roadworthy and offering helpful maintenance advice.
