Glossop SNT - Community Speed Watch Event in Hadfield today.
Glossop SNT (PCSO Buller) and 2 volunteers from the Hadfield Community Speed Watch Team completed an event at Woolleybridge Rd, Hadfield this morning, Friday May 1st - between 11.00 am and 12.00 pm. The speed limit on this road is 30 mph.
During the event today 444 vehicles went by the team, of those 16 were recorded driving above 35 mph. with the highest speed being recorded at 42 mph.
This location had been identified by local councillors including residents from Hadfield as one of the Policing Priorities (Speeding) chosen by the community - which has been reported by the community as high-risk roads through speeding.
