Arrest

Whilst on patrol in Darley Dale / Matlock yesterday our dog unit spotted a vehicle of interest which had been acting suspiciously in the Rowsley area a couple of days prior.   The vehicle was stopped near Whitworth hospital where officers from our rural crime team and response joined him to assist.

The driver was found to only have a provisional license, reported for a driving related offence and his vehicle seized.  

His passenger, a 36 year old male was wanted x 3 for Burglary, Attempt Burglary and Theft, he was arrested on suspicion of those offences.  He was later released with conditions not to enter the Derbyshire Dales area whilst further enquiries are completed.
