Community Alert – Heanor Gate
We’ve had reports of suspicious individuals in the Heanor Gate area during the early hours of the morning.
They have been seen parking on residential streets and checking vans, and there is concern they may also be targeting cars and potentially properties.
Police have been in the area today carrying out patrols, speaking with residents, and issuing crime prevention leaflets and guidance.
Please stay alert and:
Ensure vehicles are locked and valuables are removed
Secure your home, garages, and outbuildings
Consider CCTV, alarms, or sensor lighting
Report anything unusual or suspicious
