Disposable Barbeques - How to Report

During routine patrols yesterday our Safer Neighbourhood Team made safe and disposed of two disposable barbeques in Rutland Recreation Ground, Bakewell.  Following on from this, we are issuing the following advice;

If sighted they should be reported to the Fire Service by calling 999. They will need to know your exact location or nearest landmark. The best way of finding your location is by using what3words. 

The fire service will make the area safe.

Derbyshire Dales District Council is the lead agency enforcing their Public Space Protection Orders so it should also be reported to them through their website www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk.  

If police are required, the fire service will contact us directly.
