Glossop SNT - Youth Engagement Team (YET) Weekly Roundup

The following input/events have taken place in the Glossop and New Mills areas this week. (22nd to 27th June ).

Monday 22nd June at 9.30 am the team attended 'First Steps Together' Kershaw Wood a Specialist school in Glossop specifically for key stage 1 & 2 - to complete an input on 'Road Safety'.With their KS2 students 

Then he completed our monthly lunch time drop-in session for June at New Mills Secondary School, Church Lane, New Mills - alongside promoting Derbyshire Constabulary Cadet Recruitment, specifically  for the Glossop Cohort. 

Tuesday 23rd June at 9.30 am the team attended 'First Steps Together' Kershaw Wood a Specialist school in Glossop specifically for key stage 1 & 2 - to complete an input on 'The role of the Police'. With their KS2 students 

Wednesday 24th June - the team attended the Glossop Adult Education Centre, Talbot St, Glossop before lunch - after being invited to complete an input on 'Careers' in Policing for their pre apprentice programme group. 

This was followed after lunch by a visit alongside PCSO Martin from Gamesley SNT to Gamesley Primary School, Grindleford Gardens to complete an input on 'Hate Crime' followed by an input on 'Summer Safety' 

Glossop YET would like to thank the headteachers and staff from each of the above schools for the allowing and for their assistance in the presentations/inputs to their students this week 

And lastly, once again, we've been very impressed by all of the students seen this week - by their engagement and positive attitude.
