While much of the city was still asleep on Friday, Police Community Support Officers from your Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) was already out on patrol, acting on concerns raised by local businesses and members of the public about anti-social behaviour in the city centre.
By listening to the community and adjusting our patrols to target the times when issues were reported, officers we able to make an impact. The proactive approach led to some positive results and sent a clear message that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. 7 people moved on before they could cause any anti-social behaviour2 individuals found to be breaching a Community Protection Notice were moved on and reportedOfficer's engaged again with local businesses who reported no issues5 wanted individuals located and collected by our local policing unit Thank you to everyone who continues to report concerns and share information with us. Your feedback helps us direct our patrols where they're needed most, and together we're making the city centre a safer place for everyone.
