Hello All This morning, PCSO Hunt joined Middleton by Wirksworth's Community Speed Watch for the National Community Speed Watch Day!
In just one hour - over 350 vehicles passed and 17 were caught exceeding the 30mph limit. Most drivers, noticed the signs that there was a Community Speed Watch taking place and remembered to slow down.
The details of the vehicles have been sent off to our team at CREST, so letters will be arriving in the post for them.
It has also been reported to the council that the trees etc... around the 30MPH signs need cutting back - as we are aware that they are not as visible as they should be.
A huge thank you to all Community Speed Watch Groups that head out in all elements each and every day to make our roads safer and send out a powerful message to the public about road safety.
#CSWAllOutDay #Fatal4 #MiddletonbyWirksworth Thanks, PCSO Kirsty Hunt
