We’ll always be here to answer your calls, but the large number of calls we get, particularly at weekends, may mean that you could wait a while for us to answer your 101 call.

You can save time by reporting non-emergency police incidents through Derbyshire Constabulary or local community and council issues via High Peak Borough Council.

• Use the online live chat on their website to speak directly with a digital control room officer.

• Always dial 999 if there is an immediate threat to life or a crime is happening right now.

🏢 Local Council Services (High Peak)

• Report environmental or neighborhood problems via the High Peak Borough Council Reporting Portal.

• Common online forms include missed bin collections, fly-tipping, dog fouling, and council housing repairs.

• For urgent council emergencies outside normal office hours, call 0345 129 7777.

Reporting non-emergency incidents online not only helps reduce pressure on our control room and gives our call handlers more capacity to answer 999 emergency calls, it also allows you to report at a time most convenient for you.
