Teenagers inside the abandoned Albert Looms site

Dear residents,

We've been out today to reports of teenagers gaining access to the abandoned Albert Looms site on Megalaughton Lane. If you know of anyone going into the premises could you please let them know how dangerous the site is. There are many hidden dangers on the site, including shattered glass, spilt chemicals, flammable liquids, sharp implements, hidden dips, exposed sharp metals, rusted metals, uneven ground, overgrown vegetation, plus many more.

We understand that teenagers want to be teenagers and like to try and explore these sites. However, as we have said to several of them when we've found them inside, if they have an accident inside the grounds, who knows they are there.

If we catch anyone inside the site, we will get their names, and we will be taking them home to their parents to explain to them what they have been up too.

We will be making a visit to schools in the new termtime to talk to as many students as we can.

Please, tell them not to go onto the site, it's a very dangerous site to go onto.
