Car recovered after showing as having no insurance. |

During mobile patrols in Buxton town centre last night, officers from Buxton neighbourhood team identified a vehicle suspected of being driven without the required documentation. Following a check on the Police National Computer, PNC, it was confirmed that the vehicle was uninsured. The car has been seized, and the driver will face penalty points on their licence and must provide proof of insurance before the vehicle can be released from the recovery yard. It's illegal to drive a vehicle on a road or in a public place without at least third party insurance. Not all insurance policies renew automatically so always check the details of your policy and when it ends. | ||
