Fire Safety Advice - Out Trick or Treating - 'Make sure your costume is safe'!

🎃 Heading out trick-or-treating this week? Please make sure your costume is safe.

👻 Before Halloween, choose costumes from reputable retailers and look for a UKCA or CE mark. 

ℹ️Opt for costumes labelled as flame-resistant, and avoid long trailing fabrics or loose accessories that could easily come into contact with a heat source.

🔥 If the worst happens and clothing catches fire, remember the below lifesaving advice:

🛑 STOP - Don't run

⬇️ DROP - Get to the ground

🔄 ROLL - Back and forth until the flames are out.
