Appeal over city centre assault

Police are hunting a suspect who assaulted two men in the city centre.

It happened between 3 - 4am on Saturday 12 October 2019, outside Brigdens in Sadler Gate, as the two friends were approached by a group of men.

One of the victims, 18, was struck from the side, causing him to fall to the floor and sustain a broken jaw.

The other victim was punched to the face.

The offender and those he was with, ran off towards the Thomas Leaper pub / Standing Order.

Anyone with any information, who knows who is responsible or who witnessed the assault is asked to contact us as soon as possible.
