Did you witness assault in Exchange Street

We’re appealing for witnesses after receiving a report of an assault in Exchange Street, Derby on Friday 11 October at around 5.30pm.

A 20-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy were walking along the street when they were approached by a man who punched them both in the face. They sustained minor injuries. The man is understood to have then drove off in a red car.

Investigating officers have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
