Pensioner suffers facial injuries during assault

We are appealing for information after a pensioner was assaulted in Derby.

At around 6.45pm on Saturday 28 December, a 76-year-old man was walking along Reginald Street, Rose Hill, when he was attacked from behind.

He lost consciousness and when he awoke, he found that his Omega watch was missing from his wrist.

He was treated at hospital for facial injuries.
