Information for Spondon residents

We are increasing patrols in Spondon after a woman was assaulted while out jogging.

The woman told police that she was in Brunswood Recreation Ground at around 8.30pm on Friday 3 January, on the path that runs between Reader Street and Rudyard Avenue, when she was approached from behind and assaulted.

Detectives investigating what happened that night want to thank everyone who has come forward with information so far.

We have increased patrols to reassure residents and to give you the opportunity to speak to us and pass on any information you may have.
