Concerns for missing Staveley man

Alert message sent 10/01/2020 13:32:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

We’re concerned for the welfare of Ian Redford, from Staveley, who was reported missing on Wednesday 8 January.

Ian was last seen in Suffolk on 16 December where he was known to be on holiday. Further information later in the month suggested he had plans to travel to Liverpool, but it is now understood that he didn’t arrive as expected at the address he had planned to stay at. We also believe that Ian is no longer in the Suffolk area.

Ian, who is 60, is described as white, with shoulder-length grey hair that he often wears in a ponytail. He also speaks with a north east accent.

If you have seen him, or know where he may be, please contact us quoting reference number 479 of 8 January.
