Witnesses sought following altercation over scrap metal

We are seeking witnesses to an incident in Allenton where scrap metal is alleged to have been stolen and criminal damage caused to a van.

Officers are investigating allegations that an altercation took place between a group of men at the junction of Jubalton Close and Upper Moor Road over scrap metal.

A van was then damaged.

The incident happened between 9.25am and 10am on Friday 31 December.
