Appeal after cash is stolen from elderly womans bag in Ripley

We’re appealing for information after cash was stolen from an elderly woman’s bag while shopping in Ripley.

Can you help us trace these two women? They may be able to help with our inquiries.

The 82 year old was in Peacocks, on High Street, at around 11am on Thursday 6 February when she was stopped by the woman who asked her for her opinion on an outfit.

They finished their conversation and shortly after the victim went to the till to pay for her items, but realised cash and her pension book had been taken from her bag.

Did you notice the incident taking place or do you recognise the women on the CCTV images?
