Alert message sent 28/04/2020 15:51:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

We are trying to trace the owner of a dog which allegedly bit a woman.

At around 4.15pm on Saturday 18 April, a 52-year-old woman was jogging along St John’s Road, Smalley, when she saw a dog off the lead.

The woman says the dog ran up to her and bit her to the back of the leg, puncturing the skin and causing a large amount of bruising.

She has described the dog as a dark miniature poodle with some grey in its fur.

It was being walked by two people; a slim white man with long grey hair and a white woman of medium build with blonde bobbed hair.
