Boys arrested in Alvaston

Nine boys have been arrested in connection with nine linked crimes in Alvaston.

We are asking anyone who witnessed the crimes, or has information about what happened, to come forward.

We believe the same group of boys is responsible for the robberies, attempted robberies and assaults, which are said to have happened on the afternoon of Thursday 12 March on the canal path off Sinfin Moor Lane, Alvaston.

The arrested boys, who are aged 12 – 16, have all been released on bail while inquiries continue.
