Appeal for witnesses after man is assaulted in Buxton

A man has been assaulted in Buxton.

At around 6.30pm on Thursday 7 May, a 56-year-old man was walking down Spring Gardens when he was assaulted by a stranger.

He was left with a bloodied nose.

The man who assaulted him is mixed-race, stocky and about 5ft 10ins tall. He had his hair tied back. He wore navy blue shorts.

He was with a white woman who had brown hair and wore pale blue jeans and red shoes.
