Alert message sent 11/08/2017 14:46:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Police & Crime Commissioner

Police and Crime Commissioner Hardyal Dhindsa met up with local residents and those on the Walking for Health walk in the Whaley Bridge area.

He met walkers at the end of their journey at Footsteps on Market Street. The Commissioner was there to listen to residents talk about any concerns and issues in the area as part of his #D383 tour of Derbyshire.

The residents that the Commissioners met had no particular issues to raise at that time however they talked about the good community spirit in the area and how they had reliable contact with the local Safer Neighbourhood Team.

PCC Dhindsa is committed to listening to the views of every urban, suburban and rural corner of the community and welcomes anyone who has a local issue to raise concerns with him.
