Winter advice for people who use LPG to heat their home

Alert message sent 08/11/2017 13:29:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Police & Crime Commissioner

Following on from the winter advice for homes with mains supply electricity and gas, the below advice is for people who use LPG to heat their home.

If there is a leak you can contact the 24/7 emergency number of your gas supplier which should be displayed on the side of the storage vessel (or inside the turret if the vessel is buried underground) or LPG cylinder instead of the GT number.

Boilers are fundamentally the same as a natural (mains) gas one so should still be checked out by a gas safe registered engineer, suitably qualified for LPG.
