Did you witness robbery at Derby shop

We’re appealing for witnesses after a robbery at a shop in Derby.

A man is reported to have entered the Markeaton News store, in Bromley Street at around 5am on Tuesday 18 February. He threatened the shop assistant and demanded cash. He stole a quantity of cash, cigarettes and alcohol.

The man is described as white, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall and of average build. He was wearing a hooded top and had his face covered with a black scarf. He was also wearing brown jeans.
